Brand & Design

A brand that looks different on every billboard, brochure and post isn't really a brand yet.

Start a project

We design the identity first, then carry it through everything it has to live on, from site hoarding and billboards to books, campaigns and stationery, so it all reads as one system.

What's included

The work itself.

  1. 01

    Brand Identity

Brandmarks and the systems around them. Symphony's stylized S reads as a musical note and a wave at once; Property Auctions Ghana's G is the space left inside a house.

  2. 02

    Campaign Design

Campaigns built around one idea that carries on its own. Sapphire Labone was framed as a hidden gem in the middle of the city, something found rather than advertised.

  3. 03

    Billboard & Signage Design

Outdoor work built to be read at a glance. For MCL's Grand Panache, the hoarding around a live construction site became the first real look at the finished tower.

  4. 04

    Editorial Design

Brochures and books paced like a story. The ANABS book opens wide and black on "Living above the skyline" and only then lets the detail in.

  5. 05

    Brand Applications

Everything the identity has to live on. For Forest Hill, the contour lines of the hills the estate sits in became the pattern everything else is built from.

Scope

Every plan starts from your situation.

Every project is scoped around what you need designed and where it will live.

What shapes the scope

  1. Starting Point

Whether we're building an identity from scratch or working from one you already have.

  2. Number of Pieces

How many applications the system has to cover, from a single mark to hoarding, brochures and stationery.

  3. Where It Lives

Print, outdoor and digital each come with their own formats and production needs.

Included in every plan

  • A clear concept, presented with the thinking behind it
  • One system that carries across every application
  • Files ready for print, outdoor and digital

Questions

Asked and answered.

What Does Brand & Design Cover?

Brand identities, campaigns, billboards and site signage, editorial work like brochures and books, and the everyday applications a brand has to live on, from stationery to signage.

What Does a Brand Identity Project Include?

The mark itself, then the system around it: color, type and the rules that let it work on everything else. Symphony's identity ran from a single brandmark through to the objects people would actually hold.

Can You Market a Development Before It's Built?

Yes. For MCL's Grand Panache, we turned the hoarding around a live construction site into the first real look at the finished tower, while the building itself was still bare concrete and cranes.

Can I See Your Design Work?

Ten design projects are in our case studies, each with the brief, the idea behind it and the finished pieces.
